Rory MacDonald
Rory MacDonald joins the Spinal Answer chiropractic with a wealth of experience in the health and fitness industry. Rory’s speciality is in exercise rehabilitation which corrects faulty movement patterns which can lead to injury. The overall result you will feel is a stronger, fitter and healthier you, who is ready to embark on an exercise or sport with less risk of injury.
Graduating from Oxford Brookes in 2008 with a BA in Sports and Coaching, Rory then spent 4 months in New York City completing his personal trainer qualification at the American Academy of Personal Training, which he achieved with distinction.
Having gained his qualification, he worked as a Personal Trainer at the exclusive Notting hill Harbour Club in London where he trained a wide variety of clients of all ages and all abilities. In 2009, he was accepted to study the Sports Therapy Masters degree at London Metropolitan University that greatly enhanced his understanding of sports injury and rehabilitation. On graduation, he worked in a variety of medical clinics, private gyms and most notably for the London Irish Rugby Club recovery team.
Rory is passionate about the health and fitness industry and uses a range of exercise rehabilitation techniques to assist patients to gain full movement, function and core control developing their fitness and ability to perform with a lesser risk of injury. Rory has recently qualified as a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) practitioner specializing in rehabilitation for all ages and abilities including athletes. His philosophy is “knowledge and understanding from the patient’s view is the key to a full functional recovery”.
Joining The Spinal Answer as the exercise rehabilitation specialist, he works with the chiropractors to ensure that all patients who have suffered from an injury will return to full health and fitness. The combination of chiropractic care and exercise rehabilitation keep the people of Fulham healthier, fitter and able to do all the things they want to do at whatever level, ability and age.
